VDAB's services
Are
you looking for a job or a course? In that case, you're at the right address. The VDAB offers a set of customer-friendly,
modern and efficient services. You can make use of these services when you are authorized to work
in Belgium.
- If you are looking for a job, you need to register as a jobseeker. If you know some Dutch, then you can register on line. If not, contact us.
- Then you can leave your cv in the candidates database. Employers can consult this database and contact suitable candidates. If you do not have a social security number, you cannot publish your cv on your own. In that case, you need a counsellor to post your cv in the database. Of course you can also consult job vacancies in the vacancy database (if you know some Dutch).
- For jobseekers who need more help, the VDAB provides job guidance, to help them get a job as quickly as possible. Especially for non-native speakers, customized integration guidance is available.
- Finally, the VDAB offers a lot of training courses: from pc-training and welding, up to languages and fork-lift truck operator. And VDAB also provides career guidance for people who already have a job.
Attention
To apply for unemployment benefits, you need to be officially registered as a jobseeker in the area where you are living.
