The necessary E-forms (for EU-citizens)
E-forms are used to apply for benefits and reimbursements more quickly. You deliver these forms to the appropriate organisations after your arrival. You can find the necessary E-forms at your social security institutions (National health insurance, issuing authority, pension fund) before you leave.
A few copies of your (translated) diploma
- Higher education
In order to be able to attend higher education, you need a Belgian secondary education diploma. If your foreign diploma is recognized, you get direct access to a college of higher education or university. - Professional recognition
If you are a citizen of the European Economic Area and
you obtained a recognized diploma in the European Economic Area and
you want to exercise a regulated profession, you can have your foreign competency certificate professionally recognized thanks to the European Directives. - Academic recognition
If you cannot invoke a European Guideline, you can fall back on diploma comparison. That is the academic recognition of your diploma.
